THE ASSOCIATION OF INVESTORS OF KAZAKHSTAN: A NEW PLATFORM FOR STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN BUSINESS AND THE STATE
The Association of Investors of Kazakhstan has been officially established in the Republic of Kazakhstan—a public organization designed to serve as a key platform for constructive dialogue between business and the state. By uniting representatives of leading economic sectors, the Association will support the implementation of economic reforms and new growth directions outlined by the Head of State during a meeting with the business community on February 7, 2025.
The founders of the Association are the KAZENERGY Association, the Kazakhstan Electric Power Association, and the Kazakhstan Builders Association.
The primary goal of the Association of Investors of Kazakhstan is to build effective partnerships with the state to implement economic reforms and ensure systematic efforts toward the quantitative and qualitative growth of investments within the country.
Strategic directions of activity:
• Deregulation of the entrepreneurial environment;
• Digitalization of business-state interactions;
• Liberalization of the economy and improvement of the investment climate;
• Legal protection of businesses;
• Facilitation of large-scale investment projects.
The Association of Investors of Kazakhstan intends to establish close and fruitful cooperation with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken,” combining efforts to develop entrepreneurship.
The Association is open to all business associations and representatives of large and medium-sized businesses willing to join a large-scale effort for Kazakhstan’s economic progress.
Bolat Akchulakov, Chairman of the KAZENERGY Association, has been elected as the Chairman of the Association’s Council.
